LPG ethane tank storage park ATPC - Antwerp
The Antwerp Terminal & processing Company, or ATPC, is significantly expanding its storage installation in the port of Antwerp used to hold petroleum and petrochemical products. An LPG ethane tank storage park to hold 30,000 m³ of products will be built. The super-sized tanks are designed to store ethane, propane, butane, and derived products. This investment makes ATPC a significant player in the ARA storage market for LPG and ethane. Furthermore, the ATPC terminal quartered in the Beliweg in the port of Antwerp is able to handle VLGC's, or Very Large Gas Carriers.
The Antwerp Terminal & Processing Company stands for the former Petroplus and RBP companies. So, it was one of the oldest industrial complexes in the port. ATPC is now part of the Dutch Vitol Group in Rotterdam and the Malaysian shipping company MISC. The two partners jointly exploit a large global network of oil processing companies and storage facilities.
