The existing buildings at De Grubbe were in poor condition and also too small. A master plan was therefore drawn up for the complete renovation of the site. The old buildings were demolished and replaced by a new building (Building A - 2018-2019) with capacity for 50 young people. In 2020, all the remaining, unplanned buildings also made way for a second new building (Building B - 2020-2022) with 40 places.
