Bus depot - Grimbergen

Description

The project includes the total refurbishment of the bus depot for Flemish public transport company De Lijn in Grimbergen:

  • Renovation of existing 100 x 40 m parking shed, built at the beginning of the 20th century, with retention of façades and steel trusses.
  • New construction of maintenance shed (with basement).
  • New construction of office block, including finishing and technological infrastructure.
  • Soil remediation (diesel contamination): 1,800 m³.
  • Complete construction of surrounding infrastructure.
  • Technological infrastructure: bus wash, fume extraction system, oil distribution system, access control system, compressed air system, HVAC, electrical and toilet facilities.

Throughout the work, the existing bus depot must remain in service, so the work was divided into 14 phases.
