This dilapidated sanatorium was transformed into a modern residential care centre with 127 care rooms, respecting the modernist architecture of the 1930s. A new building houses 24 assisted living flats. The restoration and extension of the protected monument required the necessary creativity and innovation to bring the project to a successful conclusion. Among other things, we applied complex foundation techniques to build an additional storey on top of the sanatorium and had custom-made facade stone strips produced. All within budget and timing.
