Museum Aan de Stroom (MAS) - Antwerp

Description

The Museum aan de Stroom (MAS) in the Eilandje district of Antwerp was constructed as a huge storehouse and thus refers to the warehouses or storehouses of yesteryear Antwerp. The museum covers no less than 14,500 m² and with its height of 65 metres, the building is a true landmark in the city. An immense mosaic by Luc Tuymans decorates the square and the pavilions around the museum. MAS opened its doors in May 2011 and draws about 650,000 visitors every year..

Willemen Construct came into being on 1 July 2018 as a result of the merger between Willemen General Contractor and the construction department of Kumpen.
