Labo building BASF - Antwerp

Description

Franki Construct has built a new laboratory in the port of Antwerp on the BASF site, which is the largest chemical production centre in Belgium.

The building measures 61 m x 35 m and is 16 m high. The ground floor and first floor are made from concrete. Columns, beams, arches and concrete façade panels are used on the ground floor. The “technical floor” is a steel construction, and the first and second floors have metal cladding. The laboratory is equipped with a green roof.

Willemen Construct came into being on 1 July 2018 as a result of the merger between Willemen General Contractor and the construction department of Kumpen.
