Renovation of a residential care centre and construction of several new building sections for a total of 120 residents. This is an engineering & build project in which we, as contractor, are also responsible for the studies. The challenge was to refine the concept with a view to a low integral operational cost (Total Cost of Ownership). We succeeded in this by working out measures to reduce the building costs, maintenance costs and energy costs. Thanks to a well-considered phasing of the works, the residential care centre can remain inhabited without residents and personnel being inconvenienced too much.
