After the successful and quick realisation of the first phase of the expansion of the KV Mechelen football club’s stadium, we were appointed to also carry out phase 2. A total of two stands were demolished to make way for new stands with standing and seating areas, skyboxes, a restaurant and cafeterias, a fan shop, commercial and office spaces, and a day-care centre. With the completion of Phase 2, the stadium’s capacity increased from 13,000 to 17,500.
