Overwegen 10 (km 10.932), 11 (km 11.440) en 11bis (km 11.815) zijn vervangen door een fietstunnel van 3,75m breed. Tegelijkertijd is er tussen de Spoorwegbaan en de N9 een nieuw stuk fietssnelweg aangelegd van ongeveer 1,6 km langs de sporen.
